Celebrate the wonder of words and a love for literacy and literature.
Through celebrating literature and uplifting literacy, the event’s aim is to provide the local community with an annual space to engage with books and writers with a hope to impact, not only quality of life, but directly combat the cycle of illiteracy by creating a content-rich environment for all community members.

4 events over 3 days - Our Voices: Festival of Words celebrates the power of words with something that everyone can enjoy.
LIT LOUNGE - 4/25
Opening Reception and Artist Showcase featuring local and regional writers, poets and musicians.
AN INTIMATE EVENING - 4/26
Poetry reading and conversation with Pulitzer Prize-winning poet, Jericho Brown. Also features Christell Roach and a short play reading.
BOOK FAIR - 4/26
Invite Only event for local students to receive complimentary books and art-making experiences.
FESTIVAL OF WORDS - 4/27
A free family friendly community festival celebrating the diversity and joy of literature through a full day of activities, including performances, author readings, children's activities, meditation garden, food trucks, music and much more.
